The Vice Principal (New Chandigarh) - Mrs. Sneha Wadhwa

Ms. Sneha Wadhwa is a seasoned educator with over two decades of experience across school and higher education. A postgraduate in Zoology (Hons.) from Punjab University, she is also B.Ed., CTET, and UGC-NET qualified. She is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from ICTRC, New Delhi—reflecting her continued commitment to personal and professional growth.

She began her career as PGT Biology at her alma mater, Army Public School Fazilka, in 2002, and rose to the position of Vice Principal within just three years—a testament to her dedication, leadership, and deep understanding of school systems. She then served as Lecturer at DAV College, Chandigarh, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and later joined St. Kabir Public School, Chandigarh, where she worked for 13 enriching years. During this time, she held several key roles including ICT Coordinator, House Incharge, CISV Incharge, and Head of Co-Scholastics. She is also a certified CBSE trainer.

Across her journey, Ms. Wadhwa has held firmly to the belief that children become confident when they are given the opportunity to express, explore, and question. She places great emphasis on foundational literacy, knowing that it is not just a skill but the cornerstone of lifelong learning.

Reflecting the values of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan—that the soul of India lies in its culture—Ms. Wadhwa is deeply invested in nurturing children who are not only academically equipped, but also socially and emotionally grounded. She notes,
“With the state-of-the-art infrastructure at Bhavan Vidyalaya New Chandigarh, a passionate team of educators, and the visionary guidance of the school management and our respected Principal, we strive every day to bring out the best in each learner.”

She holds a quiet belief that just as branches spread wide only when the roots run deep, children too flourish when grounded in strong values and supported with care. At Bhavan Vidyalaya, this philosophy guides every effort—to raise not only capable learners but also kind, balanced, and reflective individuals, embracing the spirit of collective growth and responsibility.

As the saying goes,
“Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can… and together, let’s shape futures that are confident, curious, and culturally rich.”
