We at Bhavan are mindful of the role that we as an educational institute need to play in nurturing young men and women into thoughtful and empathetic global citizens who can play a significant role in sustaining world peace. Today, more than ever before, there is a dire need to fortify our future generations against the nihilistic and divisive forces that threaten to overpower humanity for their voracious appetite for power. These past few years have seen the world becoming more and more polarised, and the untold anguish caused by the destructive forces of fundamentalism that have been wreaking havoc on the humanity.
BVC MUN was initiated in 2010 with the intent of empowering young people with the requisite life skills; giving them courage to step out of their comfort zones in search for a larger purpose of life; to be aware of what ails this world and how to make our lives more meaningful and productive. We are indeed proud that not only have we been successful in establishing an impeccable reputation for BVCMUN as one of the best in the MUN circuit of the country, but have also been consistent in ensuring high quality of debating and animated discussions on an entire gamut of global issues of human interest.
Our school organized the eighth edition of the “BVCMUN’17”, from August 4 to 6, 2017. This year’s theme being “From Untruth to Truth”, our endeavour once again was to make the event informative and meaningful for the young minds by giving them an opportunity to engage in debating and deliberating over some of the most pressing problems that afflict our world today. BVCMUN’17 was proud to host more than 370 students from 74 renowned schools from all over the country and abroad. Marefat Afghanistan, NIMS Dubai and DPS Kuwait were among the seven international schools participating in this mega conference.
